Community Spotlight: Little Wings

Hunter Health Insurance is proud to support Little Wings Australia.

Little Wings is a not-for-profit organisation that provides free, professional, safe flight and ground transport services for seriously ill children in rural and regional NSW, ACT and QLD from their hangars based at Bankstown and Cessnock. Services support seriously ill children receiving treatment at:

Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick
Westmead Children’s Hospital
The John Hunter Children’s Hospital
Royal Far West in Manly
Queensland Children’s Hospital

Little Wings also enables the Medical Wings program, which delivers clinics in partnership with local hospitals, Aboriginal Medical Centres, primary health clinics and Immigration Centres – flying specialist healthcare teams to pop-up clinics across regional and remote New South Wales. In FY22, the Medical Wings Program averaged 25 scheduled paediatric patients a day per visiting doctor.
