We’ve updated the Hunter Health Insurance app to provide members with an additional secure way to complete sign-in authentication requests. You can now use an authentication app on your mobile device to receive one-time verification codes when signing in adding an extra layer of protection to keep your personal information secure.
We recommend using an authentication app because it offers stronger account protection, does not rely on SMS delivery and can be more reliable when mobile reception is unavailable (including when travelling overseas).
SMS verification will remain available if you prefer so that you can continue to choose the sign-in method that works best for you.
