Knee and Hip Care Programs
Kieser Australia offer Knee and Hip Care Programs designed to prevent or delay joint replacement surgery, reduce pain and other symptoms you may be experiencing, Improve your ability to undertake everyday activities and provide a long-term plan to help self-manage your osteoarthritis.
The 14-week Care Plans include:
- An initial assessment and 6 one-on-one treatment and supervised exercise sessions with a physiotherapist.
- 1:1 exercise sessions with an Exercise Physiologist or Exercise Scientist.
- A physiotherapist-designed, independent strengthening program on Kieser equipment, supervised by Exercise Scientists
- Education on how to manage and live with Osteoarthritis.
- Use of the Kieser Konnect app.
- Objective assessments to help measure your improvement.
If your treating Medical Practitioner considers that you may be a likely candidate for knee or hip surgery, or other major surgical intervention, within the next three years as a result of your osteoarthritic condition, and you hold an eligible level of HHI hospital and extras cover (with all relevant waiting periods served), you may be eligible to be referred to the Kieser Care Programs with no out-of-pocket cost.

Spinal Care Programs
The Kieser Spinal Care Plan is designed to prevent or delay spinal surgery, reduce pain and other symptoms you may be experiencing, improve your ability to undertake everyday activities, provide a long-term plan to help self-manage your lower back condition.
The 18-week Care Plan includes:
- An initial assessment, and 13 one-on-one treatment and supervised exercise sessions with a physiotherapist.
- 12 sessions on the Kieser lumbar extension strengthening machine
- Progression to 1:1 exercise sessions with an exercise physiologist or exercise scientist
- A physiotherapist-designed, independent strengthening program on Kieser equipment, supervised by exercise scientists.
- Use of the Kieser Konnect app.
- Education program on how to manage and live with your lower back condition.
If your treating Medical Practitioner considers that you may be a likely candidate for spinal surgery, or other major surgical intervention, within the next three years as a result of your back condition, and you hold an eligible level of HHI hospital and extras cover (with all relevant waiting periods served), you may be eligible to be referred to the Kieser Care Programs with no out-of-pocket cost.
