Our Board of Directors provide strategic direction and oversight to support the long-term success and integrity of Hunter Health Insurance. Our board includes experienced professionals from a range of backgrounds, each member plays a vital role in shaping and maintaining the vision, values and and governance of Hunter Health Insurance.

Board Chair
Principal Consultant | Managing Director Ableson Howes and Associates.
Board member, management consultant and interim executive with 25 years as a non-executive director. Currently also appointed as NED for The Mutual Bank.
A Pinkowski
Chair of the People & Culture Committee
Non-Executive Director with deep technology, finance and commercial skills built on an extensive background in innovation, venture funding and exits.
Significant executive experience in building and scaling commercial, operations, finance, governance, strategy, culture and tech functions in software and technology organisations. Passionate about the Hunter Region with NED roles and involvement at a variety of local institutions.

Retired following a career of forty years in the finance industry, including management, business banking and financial planning. Geoff continues to be actively involved in a number of community events, organisations and businesses such as the Cessnock Business Chamber.

Now retired, Mr Ryan has had over 20 years’ experience in private practice as Principal, Ryan Accounting, Taxation & Business Services and Commercial Manager, P & H MinePro Services.

With over two decades of experience in local government and community leadership, including serving as Mayor of Cessnock City Council from 2012 to 2021, Mr Pynsent has held numerous board roles across regional organisations and brings a wealth of governance expertise.
